I wanted to love this place but I was somewhat underwhelmed. I love hole in the wall, family run greasespoons.
This is quantity over quality. The portions way exceed the price you pay for them, but the food seems to be lacking a bit.
The kungpao chicken came with chicken, zucchinis, and rice... I feel they could have added other vegetables and added some stir fried peppers to enhance the flavor. My expectations were low because it was so cheap, but they didn't mean them. -

Little while in a wall has reopened. Looks cleaner! I loved this place even when it looked dingy. If you're looking for cleanliness, this isn't the place. You want great taste, this is the spot. Although keep in mind, he touches a lot of the food with his hands. He then handles cash and doesn't wash his hands aft... at all lol.
Update: Just noticed he doesn't thoroughly wash his pans. He uses the same one over and over just rinsing with same Brillo pad. Worst of all, there was a Brillo pad wire in my sons food! Just nasty. -

I ordered Mongolian beef over rice and bbq pork w/ scrambled eggs over rice. The total was around $11. They charge 10 cents for a bag. The container is made out of plastic and the food is really hot just fyi if you're health conscious.
The Mongolian beef is good but in my opinion there's too much onions and not enough beef.
For the bbq pork and scrambled eggs, I feel like their "big portion" doesnt hold true for this dish. Next to the Mongolian beef, it's obvious the bbq pork w/ scrambled eggs has less portion (but still the same amount of rice).
It's true that the man doesnt wash his hands after he handled the money. He proceeded to cut the bbq pork with his hands food came out really quick tho - about 5 mins for 2 dishes.
But in the end none of us have stomachaches so it's all good
The food is good enough that I will come again and try other dishes.
